In the garden Lady Muck has set up a
studio showcasing local arts and crafts with a special emphasis on recycled
products such as hand made paper, paper mache, hand made cards, mosaics, decoupage,
soaps and pot-pourri which would make ideal gifts for the traveler. A
section of the studio also provides maps and merchandise of the nearby Bibbulmun
track and paintings by artists of local scenes and the wildflowers for
which Kalamunda is famous. Workshops are regularly conducted by local
artists in the studio including permaculture gardening, the use of organic fertilizers
and mulches. Our shop at Lady Muck sells memorabilia, artifacts and
local craft. Walking sticks are also available for the bush walker.

Ms. Strawman (a local) greets you at the entrance to the
shop. As always laying back and relaxing, she doesn't talk much, but
she will tip her hat and nod her head in welcome whenever the wind blows. |
